The 2018 Honda Classic

Palm Beach Gardens, FL – The 2018 Honda Classic returns as South Florida’s only PGA Tour event February 19th – 25th. Goslings Rum will again be one of the main sponsors for the 10th year. The Goslings Rum Bear Trap is one of the PGA Tour’s  most difficult 3 hole stretches on tour. The par three 15th, the par four 16th and the par three 17th in the amphitheater setting of the Goslings Rum tavern makes for great theater all weekend. The game’s greats have walked through the tunnel to the nerve racking tee shot on the par three 17th. Woods, Mickelson, Spieth, Day, McIlroy, Johnson have all played in what has become one of the better fields on tour.

Rickie Fowler is in the 2018 field

This year, Rory McIlroy has already committed to play in the 2018 version of the tournament after a three-month break rehabbing from a lingering rib injury. Ken Kennerly, The Honda Classic Executive, had this to say, “He has been such a great friend to The Honda Classic through the years and is one of the game’s premier players and a fan favorite. We hope The Honda Classic helps springboard him to a phenomenal year in 2018.”
