2017 U.S. Senior Open

The most prestigious event on the Champions tour returns to Boston, Massachusetts and famed Salem Country Club in Peabody. The worlds best over 50 year old golfers will challenge one of Donald Ross’s greatest designs June 26th to July 2nd. See some of the game’s greatest including John Daly, Fred Couples, Tom Watson, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie to name just a few.

The U.S. Senior Open was last played at Salem Country Club in 2001 when Bruce Fleisher’s winning score of Even bested the field. Salem Country Club has hosted a total of 6 national championships in its’ storied history. The tournament will also host several local golfers who have qualified including Chip Johnson who also played in the 1988 U.S. Senior Open at The Country Club in Brookline, MA and veteran of the PGA Tour and Champions Tour Newport, RI native P.H. Horgan III. Ron Philo an NEPGA Champion and New England Open Champion from Vermont will also be in the field.

Goslings Rums will also be at the event featuring their famous 19th hole cocktail, the Dark ‘n Stormy.
